Madame Tussauds Installs Michael Jackson Tribute Exhibit

Marking the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death on Friday, June 25, Madame Tussauds Wax Museums around the world are paying tribute to the King of Pop, USA Today reported.
The Madame Tussauds Washington D.C., in the meantime, has shown off the wax figure in the attraction's lobby. For the special Michael JacksonTribute Exhibit, which will run from June 23 through July 7, make-up artist is seen touching up the wax figure and styling its hair.

If you loved Michael Jackson you can become part of a pointillism portrait being created by artist David Ilan to commemorate the superstar’s life. A collaborative online effort with MJ fans, each devotee registers a dot which is then drawn on the canvas by the artist. Hailed “the largest Michael Jackson tribute in the world”, even poet Maya Angelou is encouraging people to be one of the million tiny dots that will make the portrait.
Jackson’s family will be hosting a tribute called “Forever Michael” at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event is an initiative by The Jackson Family Foundation which claims to “support and carry on the legacy of Michael Jackson” by continuing his vision of “making the world a better place… every day”.

El mundo se sorprendió cuando de repente Michael Jackson falleció a los 50 años de edad el pasado 25 de junio de 2009. Una cadena de televisión americana ( CBS ) tiene previsto hacerle un homenaje el próximo viernes cuando se cumple el primer aniversario de su muerte, seguro que serán muchos los eventos que se hagan en su memoria, uno de ellos será en “The Early Show”, donde podremos ver a algunas estrellas que recordarán al artista desaparecido. Estas estrellas serán Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, LL Cool J, Smokey Robinson y James Morrison. La cantante Christina Aguilera manifestó que la música no sería lo mismo sin no hubiese existido Michael Jackson, indicando que ella misma era una gran fan y a que sus bailarines no estarían detrás de ella si no fuera por Michael Jackson. Por su parte Marc Anthony recalcó que un artista así solo viene una vez en la vida, llegan y lo cambian todo,como hizo el Rey del Pop, cambió su vida por ser el gran artista que fué. The world was surprised when suddenly Michael Jackson has died at age 50 last June 25,2009. An American television network (CBS) is planning to make a tribute on Friday when the first anniversary of his death, surely will be many events that are made in his memory, one of them will be on "The Early Show" where we can see some stars that recall the artist disappeared. These stars will be Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, LL Cool J, Smokey Robinson and James Morrison. The singer Christina Aguilera said that music would not be the same without Michael Jackson had not existed, stating that she herself was a big fan since his dancers would not be behind it if not for Michael Jackson. Marc Anthony for his part stressed that an artist like this only comes once in life, come and change everything, as did the King of Pop, his life changed as the great artist he was. In addition to being a great artist, Michael Jackson was the person who donated more money to charities, showing their sensitivity to the most disadvantaged, so that all the tributes that do will be few.
